UAE denies Netanyahu visit
Investing.com -- The United Arab Emirates foreign ministry rejected reports on Wednesday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the country during the ongoing war with Iran.
The denial came after Netanyahu's office stated earlier on Wednesday that the prime minister had traveled to the UAE and met with the Emirati president.
The UAE foreign ministry said any claims regarding unannounced visits are baseless. The ministry emphasized that its relations with Israel are public and were established under the Abraham Accords framework.
The foreign ministry added that these relations are not based on secrecy, stating that any claims about unannounced visits or arrangements are baseless unless officially issued by the UAE.
