U.S. F-16 fighter jet crashes in western Germany

Investing.com -- An F-16 fighter jet assigned to the U.S. air base Spangdahlem in western Germany crashed on Tuesday, according to a statement from the U.S. military. The pilot ejected safely from the aircraft and is receiving medical care.

Emergency response personnel arrived at the crash site. The U.S. military said the cause of the incident is under investigation.
