Tutor Perini wins $60M Coast Guard contract in Florida

Investing.com - Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC) has been awarded a $60 million contract by the U.S. Coast Guard for construction work in St. Petersburg, Florida. The contract was awarded on Aug. 13, 2026, according to a notice published Saturday.
The contract covers an accelerated design-build project for Fast Response Cutter and Waterways Commerce Cutter facilities, along with waterfront maintenance, weapons depot work, and station rebuild. The work will be performed in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
The project scope includes recapitalization of moorings, construction of cutter berthing, upgrades to the aids to navigation yard, demolitions of buildings, and construction of a multi-purpose training building, crew berthing facility, and boat ramp. The procurement supports shore infrastructure for cutter homeporting and hurricane storm damage repairs.
Tutor Perini, based in Sylmar, California, was selected based on providing the highest technically rated offer with a fair and reasonable price. The contract was awarded under solicitation number 70Z04726RPCNI0012.
The contract award number is 70Z04726FPCNI0014 and covers contract line items 0001-0002. The notice was published by the Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard.
