Trump says considering limited military strike on Iran

Investing.com -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday he was considering a limited military strike on Iran but provided no additional details.

When asked by reporters at the White House if he was considering a limited strike to pressure Iran into a deal on its nuclear program, Trump responded, "I guess I can say I am considering" it.

The statement comes as the U.S. continues to build pressure on Iran and expand its military presence around the nation. Trump indicated that he expects to see the outcome of negotiations within roughly two weeks.

Trump has repeatedly told the country it needs to "make a deal" on its nuclear program.
