Trump says Ukraine war nearing end, expects settlement soon

E-mailInvesting.com -- President Donald Trump stated Tuesday that the war in Ukraine is nearing its conclusion and he anticipates a settlement between Russia and Ukraine.
"The end of the war in Ukraine I really think it's getting very close," Trump told reporters as he departed the White House for a trip to China.
Trump's remarks aligned with comments made by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday.
The president clarified that there is no understanding with Putin that Russia should receive control of the Donbas region.
