Trump says US has "total control" over Strait of Hormuz
Investing.com -- President Donald Trump stated Wednesday that the United States has total control over the Strait of Hormuz and suggested the country will maintain that control.
Trump made the comments on his Truth Social platform, describing the U.S. naval blockade as being called "A WALL OF STEEL" by everyone.
The president said Iran cannot counter the American presence, citing what he described as Iran’s lack of naval and air force capabilities. Trump stated that Iran’s remaining soldiers are unpaid, the IRGC is decimated and fleeing, and the country’s leadership is uncertain.
"They have No Money - Their country is ’shot,’" Trump wrote. He added that Iran has only fake news and 300% inflation that continues to worsen.
Trump characterized Iran as "all talk and no action" and said the country is no longer the bully of the Middle East.
