Trump says Putin may be helping Iran 'a little bit'

Investing.com -- U.S. President Donald Trump suggested Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin might be providing assistance to Iran.

Speaking on Fox News Radio's "The Brian Kilmeade Show," Trump said he believes Putin could be helping Iran to some degree. "I think he might be helping him (Iran) a little bit, yeah, I guess," Trump stated during the interview.

Trump also acknowledged Putin's likely perspective on U.S. involvement elsewhere, adding that the Russian president "probably thinks we're helping Ukraine, right?"
