Trump has never asked for specific policy actions, says Fed's Miran

Investing.com -- Federal Reserve Governor Stephen Miran stated on Friday that U.S. President Donald Trump has never requested specific actions regarding monetary policy.
"He has never asked me to do any specific action on monetary policy," Miran said during an interview on Bloomberg TV.
The statement from Miran comes amid ongoing attention to the relationship between the White House and the Federal Reserve, which operates as an independent central banking system.
