Trump could wait until April 2 to finalize tariff plan: Fox News
Investing.com -- President Donald Trump has yet to finalize his reciprocal tariff plan amid multiple options and may delay the decision until the morning of the April 2 deadline, Fox News reported Monday, citing two administration sources familiar with the discussions.
The sources told Fox News that the President will likely not make the decision on which plan he takes until right before Apr. 2.. or on the morning of Apr. 2.
Ahead of the so-called liberation day slated for Wednesday, when President Trump is expected to unveil several more trade tariffs, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the tariffs impose on a country by country basis rather than by sector, though added that the president remains committed to sectorial tariffs.
