Investing.com -- The Trump administration plans to abandon its defense of executive orders that sanctioned four major U.S. law firms, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.
The U.S. Justice Department is expected to drop appeals to trial-court rulings against actions targeting Jenner & Block, WilmerHale, Perkins Coie and Susman Godfrey, according to people familiar with the matter.
The trial courts had previously ruled against the executive orders sanctioning the four law firms.
