Stanley Woodward to lead Justice Department antitrust division - MLex
Investing.com -- The U.S. Department of Justice has placed Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward in charge of its antitrust division, regulatory news website MLex reported on Monday.
Omeed Assefi, who has been serving as acting head of the antitrust division, will depart from the department, according to a post on X by an MLex reporter.
U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche approved a memo last week that grants Woodward the authority to exercise the powers of the assistant attorney general for the antitrust division, the report said.
