Samsung workers postpone general strike, to vote on wage deal
Investing.com -- Unionized workers at Samsung Electronics Co. said Wednesday they decided to postpone plans for a general strike and will put a tentative wage deal to a vote.
The general strike scheduled for May 21-June 7 will be postponed until further notice, according to a notice from the joint headquarters of Samsung Electronics’ labor union, as reported by Yonhap.
Union members will participate in a vote on the tentative wage deal starting Saturday, the union said.
