Russia says no near-term visit expected from Witkoff and Kushner

Investing.com -- Russia does not anticipate a visit from U.S. negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in the coming period, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Friday, as reported by Interfax.

The two negotiators had been part of mediation efforts between Russia and Ukraine. Those talks came to a halt in February after the United States and Israel launched military action against Iran.
