Roper shares dip as weak full-year outlook overshadows Q4 beat
Investing.com -- Roper Technologies delivered a modest earnings beat in the fourth quarter, but the company’s full-year outlook fell short of market expectations.
Roper shares dipped more than 3% in premarket trading by 07:11 ET.
The company reported Q4 earnings per share of $5.21, topping the consensus estimate of $5.14. Quarterly revenue jumped 10% year-over-year to $2.06 billion, compared with analysts’ forecast of $2.08 billion.
Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter also rose 10% to $818 million.
For the full year, revenue rose 12% to $7.90 billion, supported by a 7% contribution from acquisitions and organic growth of 5%. Adjusted EBITDA increased 11% to $3.14 billion.
"2025 was another clear demonstration of Roper’s durable long-term cash flow compounding model," said Neil Hunn, Roper Technologies’ President and CEO. "During the year, we delivered 12% total revenue growth, 11% EBITDA growth, and 8% free cash flow growth."
Looking ahead, Roper guided to fiscal 2026 earnings per share of $21.30 to $21.50, below the consensus estimate of $21.60. The company forecasts total revenue growth of around 8% for the year, with organic revenue growth in a range of 5% to 6%.
For the first quarter of 2026, Roper sees adjusted diluted EPS of $4.95 to $5.00.
