The battery-powered, hockey-puck-sized device features a unique doughnut-shaped design built for ultimate portability. Designed to be carried effortlessly around the home with one hand, it functions seamlessly whether resting on a nightstand, sitting on a kitchen counter, or held mid-conversation. To make interactions feel more intuitive, the hardware integrates kinetic moving parts that visually indicate when the AI is active and responding.

Rather than offering a simple voice assistant, OpenAI is positioning the device as an "AI-first computer" engineered to execute complex tasks.
