Norwegian Cruise Line stock rises on upbeat Q3 forecast
Investing.com -- Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings shares gained nearly 2% in premarket trading Wednesday after the company said it expects third quarter results to exceed its prior forecast due to better-than-expected revenue performance.
The cruise operator had previously guided for third quarter adjusted earnings per share of $0.90 and adjusted EBITDA of $874 million in July. The company did not provide specific updated figures for the quarter.
Norwegian Cruise Line reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance. The company also said it expects 2027 full-year net interest expense to be in the range of $860 million to $880 million.
Carnival shares jumped as much as 13.4% on Tuesday, marking their biggest intraday gain since April 8, after the cruise operator raised its full-year adjusted earnings-per-share forecast.
The company said booked occupancy and pricing for 2027 are both at record levels, while bookings for 2028 are “off to an excellent start,” with occupancy and prices ahead of the same period last year. This helped NCLH stock to close 3.4% higher yesterday.
