Northrop Grumman gets $34 million Navy contract modification

Investing.com -- Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. received a $34,388,301 contract modification from the U.S. Department of War to increase the ceiling of an existing firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for military helicopter components.

The modification expands the potential to procure additional UH-1Y and AH-1Z Helicopter Link-16 A-Kits, B-Kits, and associated spare parts. Contract quantities increased by eight UH-1Y Link 16 A Kits, nine AH-1Z Link 16 A Kits, 17 Link 16 B Kits, and spare parts including systems engineering and program management, and logistics support.

Work will be distributed across multiple locations, with Chicago, Illinois receiving 23% of the work, Woodland Hills, California receiving 22%, and Salt Lake City, Utah receiving 20%. San Diego, California will receive 9%, Rancho Cucamonga, California 8%, Huntsville, Alabama 8%, Dallas, Texas 5%, Scottsdale, Arizona 2%, and Rochester, New York 1%. The remaining 2% will be distributed among other localities.

The work is expected to be completed by March 2027. No funds will be obligated at the time of award, with funds to be obligated on individual orders as they are issued.

Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, serves as the contracting activity for this modification to contract N0001924D0123.
