Investing.com -- Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has been awarded multiple defense contracts totaling approximately $58.8 million for various military systems and components.
The U.S. Department of Defense announced that Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. of Plymouth, Minnesota received a $26,948,130 modification to contract W15QKN-13-C-0074 for the development, qualification, and production of M1156E5 precision guidance kits. The work will be performed in Plymouth, Minnesota, with completion expected by May 21, 2028. The Army Contracting Command in Newark, New Jersey is managing this contract, with fiscal 2025 ammunition procurement Army funds allocated for the award.
In a separate contract, Northrop Grumman's Weapons System Division in Northridge, California was awarded an $8,271,501 firm-fixed-price order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement. This order covers the production and delivery of AN/AAR-47 Missile Warning Set components, including 154 sensors, 42 computer processors, and 11 Countermeasures Signals Simulator test gun sets for foreign military customers. Work will be conducted in Northridge, California with completion scheduled for November 2027. The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland is overseeing this contract.
Additionally, Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. in McLean, Virginia secured a ceiling $23,540,188 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering services and technical support for the AN/ALR-56M Integrated Support Station and related systems. This contract supports the sustainment of the Integrated Support Station and systems that comprise the F-15 Tactical Electronic Warfare System. The work will be performed at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia with an expected completion date of June 29, 2035. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base is managing this sole source acquisition contract.
