No Trump-Putin call planned, Kremlin says
Investing.com -- The Kremlin said Tuesday that no phone conversation between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin is currently scheduled. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement while confirming that American negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner remain in contact with officials from both Russia and Ukraine.
Witkoff and Kushner had taken part in earlier mediation work between Russia and Ukraine. Those efforts stopped in February when the United States and Israel launched military operations against Iran.
Peskov said no specific dates have been arranged for the negotiators' next trip to Russia.
