MongoDB jumps in afterhours trade after lifting annual guidance

Investing.com - Shares in MongoDB surged in afterhours trading Monday after the software company raised its annual guidance following blowout third-quarter earnings, underpinned by growing demand for its Atlas cloud data management service.
MongoDB (NASDAQ: MDB) jumped more than 15% in recent afterhours trading following the report.
For Q3, MongoDB reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.32 on revenue of $628.3M, topping estimates of $0.81 and $593.8M, respectively.
Atlas customers jumped to above 60,800, compared with 51,100+ a year earlier,
Looking ahead, the company forecast Q4 adjusted EPS in a range of $1.44 to $1.48, while revenue is projected to be between $665M and $670M.
For fiscal 2026, adjusted EPS was now expected in a range of $4.76 to $4.80, on revenue between $2.43B and $2.44B. MongoDB had previously called for adjusted EPS of $3.64 to $3.73 on revenue of $2.34B to $2.36B.
