Investing.com -- Stocks are mixed on Tuesday on uncertainty about the direction of interest rates. Here are the market movers for June 6.
- Coinbase Global Inc (NASDAQ: COIN) shares fell 12.6% after the Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit claiming the crypto exchange has violated securities laws. The move comes a day after the SEC sued Binance and its founder.
- Unity Software Inc (NYSE: U) shares fell 1.7% a day after a pop as it is working with Apple on the mixed reality headset Apple revealed on Monday. Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) shares were down 0.3%.
- Gitlab Inc (NASDAQ: GTLB) shares jumped 31.6% after it beat expectations for the recent quarter and gave an optimistic outlook, emphasizing artificial intelligence.
- Thor Industries Inc (NYSE: THO) shares rose 17% after the maker of recreational vehicles beat expectations and raised its guidance.
- JM Smucker Company (NYSE: SJM) shares fell 2.5% after the maker of jellies and jams beat expectations, as higher prices drove sales gains in the quarter. It sees fiscal year 2024 comparative net sales rising 8.5% to 9.5%, reflecting higher prices.
