Mazda North America reports July sales down 13% year-over-year
Investing.com -- Mazda North American Operations reported total July sales of 39,180 vehicles, down 13% from the same month in 2025. The automaker sold 241,014 vehicles through the first seven months of the year, representing a 5.6% decline from the prior-year period.
July had 26 selling days, matching the same number from the previous year. The daily selling rate also fell 13% on a year-over-year basis.
The company's certified pre-owned vehicle sales reached 7,123 units in July, up 13.6% from July 2025. The month marked the best July in the CPO program's history.
July represented the third-best sales total for the month in the company's history. The CX-90 MHEV model posted its strongest July sales performance on record.
Mazda Motor de Mexico sold 8,847 vehicles in July, down 10% from the prior year. The Mexican division's year-to-date sales totaled 60,857 units, up 2% from the same period in 2025.
