Lockheed Martin wins $3 billion radar contract

Investing.com - Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) was awarded three defense contracts totaling more than $3.1 billion, the U.S. Department of War announced Tuesday.

The largest award is a $2.99 billion fixed-price-incentive, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-no-fee contract for Sentinel A4 radar production and engineering services. The contract was awarded to the company's Liverpool, New York facility following an internet solicitation that received one bid. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of June 29, 2031.

Lockheed Martin's Moorestown, New Jersey facility received a $103.9 million cost-only undefinitized contract action on June 26, 2026 for long-lead material procurement, early engineering supports, and test site establishment for the Spain F-100 mid-life upgrade program for the Spanish Navy Alvaro de Bazan-class frigates. Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey (90%), Clearwater, Florida (7%), Madrid, Spain (2%), and Owego, New York (1%), with completion expected by June 2027.

The company's Rotary and Mission Systems division in Moorestown, New Jersey was awarded a $73.68 million firm-fixed-price modification to exercise options for MK 41 Vertical Launching System modules and ancillary equipment. Work will be performed across multiple locations including Moorestown, New Jersey (31%), Indianapolis, Indiana (27%), and Saginaw, Michigan (7%), with completion expected by December 2030.

Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama is the contracting activity for the radar contract, while Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C. is the contracting activity for both naval contracts.
