Lockheed Martin wins $153 million in defense contracts

Investing.com - Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) received four defense contracts totaling approximately $153.5 million for engineering services, training support, radar systems, and F-35 aircraft modifications, the U.S. Department of War announced.
The company's Fort Worth, Texas division was awarded a $31.3 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for contractor engineering and technical services. Work will be performed at Hill Air Force Base and locations in Argentina, Bahrain, Chile, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey, with completion expected by June 30, 2029. The contract involves Foreign Military Sales to 10 countries, with $297,008 obligated at award.
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Orlando, Florida received a $24.2 million contract on Aug. 6, 2026 for Air Commando training support. The contract provides continued sustainment and support of Air Force Special Operations Command fixed-wing and tilt-rotor training devices at 10 continental U.S. and outside continental U.S. locations through Jan. 31, 2027. Fiscal 2025 and 2026 operations and maintenance funds totaling $12.2 million are being obligated at award.
The Baltimore, Maryland division was awarded a $73.9 million modification on Aug. 12, 2026 for procurement, testing, and delivery of Indra Rigel Radar Electronic Countermeasures systems for Multi-Mission Surface Combatant ships for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Work will be performed in Madrid, Spain (96%) and Moorestown, New Jersey (4%), with completion expected by February 2031.
The Fort Worth, Texas Aeronautics division received a $24.1 million modification for F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft retrofit and modification efforts supporting the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Foreign Military Sales, and non-U.S. Department of War participants. Work will be performed in Fort Worth with completion expected in October 2028.
