Investing.com -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) Rotary and Mission Systems has been awarded a $92.8 million contract modification by the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command for AEGIS system sustainment across multiple countries.
The cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to a previously awarded contract will support Advanced Electronic Guidance Information System (AEGIS) sustainment services for Australia, Japan, and Korea.
The work will be performed at Lockheed's Moorestown, New Jersey facility and is scheduled for completion by December 31, 2026.
The contract funds will be distributed among the three countries, with Japan receiving the largest portion at $20.2 million (50%), followed by Korea at $14.9 million (37%), and Australia at $5.3 million (13%).
The modification includes options for Australia in-service AEGIS sustainment, Japan JB/3/6/7 in-service AEGIS sustainment, Korea K2 in-service support, Australia technical documents, and Foreign Military Sales other direct costs and travel.
The contract was awarded on December 22, 2025, as a modification to the previously awarded contract N00024-23-C-5123. The funds obligated will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
