Investing.com - A L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) subsidiary won a defense contract worth up to $499.6 million from the U.S. Department of War Monday.
L3Harris Technologies Integrated Systems L.P., doing business as Aeromet, was awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum amount of $499,573,000. The contractor will provide support for the Missile Defense Agency Flight Test Airborne Sensors program.
The work includes operations and sustainment of flight test airborne sensors aircraft and sensor equipment, mission planning and flight test execution, and improvement and modernization efforts. The work will be performed in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
One initial task order in the amount of $22,175,032 is being issued. The ordering period runs from Sept. 15, 2026, through Sept. 14, 2036.
The contract was competitively procured via publication on the Governmentwide Point of Entry website with one proposal received. Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $5,000,000 are being obligated on the award.
