L3Harris (LHX) awarded $29.6 million Army contract for communications gear

Investing.com -- L3Harris (NYSE: LHX) Global Communications Inc. has secured a $29.6 million firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army for communications equipment and accessories.

The Rochester, New York-based company was the sole bidder for the contract, which was solicited through the internet. The work will be performed at the company's Rochester facilities.

The project has an estimated completion date of April 30, 2027. The Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is managing the contract, which bears the identification number W91CRB-25-C-5050.

The Army has already obligated the full contract amount of $29,635,553 from its fiscal 2010 other procurement funds at the time of the award.
