Kremlin says Ukraine war nearing end as peace process advances
Investing.com -- The Kremlin stated on Tuesday that the war in Ukraine is approaching completion, citing developments in ongoing peace negotiations.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on remarks by President Vladimir Putin indicating the conflict is coming to an end. Peskov said Moscow welcomes mediation efforts by the United States in the peace process.
The Kremlin spokesman reiterated Russia's stance that the conflict could stop immediately if Ukraine and President Volodymyr Zelenskiy make the decision to do so.
Putin earlier stated that the war is coming to an end, with the Kremlin pointing to progress in peace talks as evidence that the conflict's completion is approaching.
