Ken Griffin’s Citadel flagship fund up 10.2% in 2025
Investing.com -- Ken Griffin’s flagship hedge fund at Citadel posted a 10.2% gain in 2025, navigating a volatile year marked by sharp market swings and trade tensions.
The Wellington fund, which is Citadel’s largest multistrategy fund, achieved this double-digit returnm according to a CNBC report Friday that cited a person familiar with the matter.
Citadel’s tactical trading fund, which combines equities with quantitative strategies, performed better, with an 18.6% advance in 2025.
Other Citadel funds also delivered strong results. The fundamental equity strategy returned 14.5%, while the global fixed income fund gained 9.4%.
These results came during a year when the S&P 500 secured a 16.4% gain, marking its third consecutive year of double-digit annual advances.
