Investing.com -- French media organizations have requested the country's anti-trust regulator to take action against Google over its artificial intelligence-generated article summaries, according to a press trade association body on Tuesday.
The media companies claim the AI-generated summaries reduce traffic to their websites. They have asked the regulator to issue a ruling similar to one made in July against Meta, which required the company to propose a payment plan and restart negotiations with traditional media outlets.
