Investing.com - General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) Mission Systems Inc. has been awarded a contract with a not-to-exceed value of $400,400,000 for Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture Tranche Three ground segment development, the U.S. Department of War announced today.
The cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-no-fee type letter contract provides for software development, test and integration, and operations and maintenance of the ground segment mission and service applications required for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture Tranche Three capabilities.
Work will be performed at Scottsdale, Arizona; Seattle, Washington; Grand Forks, North Dakota; Redstone Arsenal, Alabama; and Chantilly, Virginia. The contract is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2030.
The Space Development Agency in Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity under contract number FA2401-26-C-0003. The contract is a sole source acquisition.
Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $60,665,380 are being obligated at time of award.
