General Dynamics wins $194M Navy contract modification

Investing.com - General Dynamics Mission Systems Inc. received a $194,139,485 contract modification from the U.S. Department of War for work on the Nuclear-Armed, Sea-Launched Cruise Missile Program, the agency announced today.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (PZ0002) to previously awarded unpriced letter contract N0003026C7000 includes optional line items. The effort will provide technical and engineering support for the Fire Control Subsystem.

Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Massachusetts (75%) and Manassas, Virginia (25%). The project is expected to be completed on Sept. 30, 2028.

Fiscal 2025 reconciliation research, development, test and evaluation, Navy funding in the amount of $135,303,302 will be obligated on this award. No funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The contract was awarded as a sole source acquisition pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 3204 (a)(1) and was previously synopsized on the System for Award Management online portal. Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
