General Dynamics wins $127M Navy submarine contract

Investing.com - General Dynamics Corp. (NYSE: GD) received a $127,050,000 contract modification from the U.S. Department of War for submarine communications systems, the department announced Thursday.

The contract was awarded to General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. in Groton, Connecticut under a previously awarded agreement (N00024-24-C-2124). The work covers procurement of long lead time material for internal communications systems for Virginia class submarines.

Work will be performed in Camden, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by July 2034. The contract represents an undefinitized contract action under the existing agreement.

Fiscal 2026 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $63,525,000 will be obligated at time of award. These funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair in Groton, Connecticut serves as the contracting activity for the award.
