Investing.com -- General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (NYSE: GD) has been awarded a $706,475,429 firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army for the production and delivery of 120mm ammunition.
The St. Petersburg, Florida-based division received the contract after a bidding process conducted via the internet, which resulted in only one bid submission.
The Army Contracting Command in Newark, New Jersey, is managing the contract as the contracting activity, with reference number W15QKN-25-D-0006.
Work locations and funding details for the ammunition production will be determined with each order placed under the contract. The project has an estimated completion date of June 12, 2029.
