Investing.com -- The European Commission has ended its antitrust investigation into RTX's (Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp unit, the regulatory body announced Friday.
The investigation examined alleged anti-competitive practices by the aerospace manufacturer. The Commission closed the probe after the company modified its contractual clauses.
"The closure of the investigation follows the company's amendment of contractual clauses, which removes possible obstacles to access to critical input and services faced by spare parts suppliers," the Commission said in a statement.
The changes eliminate potential barriers that spare parts suppliers previously faced when seeking access to necessary inputs and services.
