Investing.com -- Disney announced Tuesday it has reached a multi-year agreement to stream all-electric Formula E races globally across 144 territories on Disney+. Races will also be available on ESPN and ESPN+ in the United States.

The 2026-27 season will include 21 rounds across 13 events in cities such as Jeddah, Austin, Miami, Monaco and Mexico City. The season begins on December 18 in Jeddah and ends with the final round in Tokyo on July 25, 2027.

The agreement expands Disney's sports content, which includes select LALIGA football rights, NBA games and the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Formula E, which is majority-owned by Liberty Global, plans to debut its next-generation electric vehicle, GEN4, during the upcoming season. The league describes the vehicle as the fastest and most technologically advanced electric racing car ever built.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Formula E will maintain its broadcast TV partnerships. The league previously partnered with CBS Sports, with races airing across CBS, Paramount+ and The Roku Channel in the United States.
