Crusoe and Perplexity announce multi-year AI infrastructure deal

Investing.com -- Crusoe announced Tuesday a multi-year partnership with Perplexity to provide AI infrastructure for the company's workloads through Crusoe Cloud.

Under the agreement, Perplexity will operate its complete model lifecycle on Crusoe's platform. This includes training frontier models on clusters powered by NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 and NVIDIA InfiniBand Solutions, and deploying them through Crusoe's Managed Inference service.

Crusoe will also adopt Perplexity Enterprise Pro and Max for its 1,800 employees. The platform will provide web and internal knowledge search, multi-step research, data analysis, and access to frontier AI models.

Crusoe's Managed Inference service is designed for production-grade inference with proprietary optimizations aimed at performance and cost efficiency across popular models.

Dion Harris, Senior Director of HPC and AI Infrastructure Solutions at NVIDIA, said the partnership enables Perplexity to train, fine-tune, and serve frontier models with NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 and NVIDIA InfiniBand technology.
