CAE wins $45.3 million Air Force simulator contract

Investing.com -- CAE USA Inc. (NASDAQ: CAE) has secured a $45,319,364 contract from the U.S. Department of War to provide a full flight simulator and logistics support package, the Air Force announced.

The firm-fixed-price contract covers the acquisition and installation of one Federal Aviation Administration Level D qualified 747-8i full flight simulator at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The agreement also includes an initial logistics support package.

Work under the contract will take place across three locations: Tampa, Florida; Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada; and Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The project is scheduled for completion by March 30, 2029.

The contract was awarded through a sole source acquisition process. The Air Force is obligating $43,628,111 in fiscal 2025 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.

The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, serves as the contracting activity under contract number FA8641-26-C-B002.
