BofA reports slow start for Boeing's July deliveries

Investing.com - Bank of America (BofA) reported a sluggish start to July deliveries for Boeing Co (NYSE: BA) in an analyst note on Tuesday.

As per the data from Aero Analysis Partners/AIR (AAP/AIR), Boeing delivered six 737s as of July 11. Cirium data, on the other hand, shows eight deliveries up to mid-July. This signifies a decrease from 14 737s delivered during the same period last year and the 15 delivered within the same timeframe in the previous month.

BofA notes that July deliveries typically experience a slowdown following an end-of-quarter push. Over the past three years, July has seen an average monthly drop of 38%, which would suggest around 22 737 deliveries for this month.

In terms of production, Boeing has rolled out 10 737s so far this month, totaling 126 737s year-to-date. The 787 deliveries continue to be slow, with only one delivery so far, mirroring mid-June 2024 levels.

BofA maintained its Neutral rating on Boeing with a price target of $186.72.
