Boeing secures $150 million in defense contracts for aircraft systems

Investing.com -- Boeing (NYSE: BA) has been awarded three defense contracts totaling approximately $150 million for various aircraft systems and support services.

The largest award is a $76.6 million contract for the Universal Armament Interface (UAI) for B-52 aircraft. This contract covers modification of the CONECT system to support UAI and integrate Phase Two of UAI. Work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with completion expected by September 29, 2028. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Tinker AFB is managing this sole source acquisition, with fiscal 2025 operation and maintenance funds being fully obligated at the time of award.

Boeing's Ridley Park, Pennsylvania facility received a $52.7 million firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance and overhaul of mechanical transmissions for CH-47 Chinook helicopters. The contract was awarded after a competitive internet solicitation that received one bid. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, and the estimated completion date is September 28, 2029. The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is overseeing this activity.

Additionally, Boeing's St. Louis, Missouri operation was awarded a $21.2 million contract modification for the F-15 Advanced Display Core Processor II Full Rate Production 1. This modification provides interim contract support and field service representatives to bridge the gap between production and the establishment of organic depot support. Work will take place at multiple continental U.S. operating locations with completion expected by December 31, 2026. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio is managing this contract, with $10 million in fiscal 2023, 2024, and 2025 procurement funds obligated at the time of award.
