Boeing awarded $124.7 million contract for F-15 Japan Super Interceptor

Investing.com -- Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) has been awarded a $124.7 million contract modification for the F-15 Japan Super Interceptor Program, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

The undefinitized contract action modification brings the total value of the contract to $1.23 billion from $1.19 billion previously.

Work on the project will be performed at Boeing's facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed by February 28, 2028.

The modification involves Foreign Military Sales to Japan, with $18.3 million in FMS funds being obligated at the time of the award.

The contract was awarded on September 11 by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
