Berkshire Hathaway announces changes as Buffett prepares to step down
Investing.com -- Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc (NYSE: BRKa) announced several structural changes as the legendary CEO prepares to step aside at the end of 2025.
Among the changes is the departure of Todd Combs, who currently serves as an investment officer at Berkshire and CEO of GEICO.
Combs will be leaving to take a role at JPMorgan Chase, where he already serves as a board member.
The announcements come as Buffett prepares to hand over leadership of the conglomerate to Greg Abel, who will take over as CEO in 2026.
