Allied Gaming receives Nasdaq compliance extension

February 12, 2025 5:34 PM EST

Allied Gaming & Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ: AGAE) has been granted an extension by the Nasdaq Stock Market to hold its annual shareholder meeting and regain compliance with Nasdaq's listing rules, as stated in a recent 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The company, which operates in the amusement and recreation services industry and has posted impressive revenue growth of 36% in the last twelve months, had previously reported on December 23, 2024, that it had received a notice of noncompliance from Nasdaq. The notice was due to Allied Gaming's failure to hold an annual meeting of shareholders within twelve months of the end of its fiscal year, violating Nasdaq's Listing Rule 5620(a).

In response, Allied Gaming submitted a Plan of Compliance on January 27, 2025, detailing the reasons for the noncompliance and outlining steps to correct the issue. The Nasdaq Staff reviewed the plan and has allowed an extension until June 30, 2025, for the company to hold its annual meeting and regain compliance.
