Airbus meets revised 2025 delivery target with 793 aircraft
Investing.com -- Airbus SE delivered 793 airplanes in 2025, according to multilple media reports, successfully meeting its revised annual target.
The European aerospace manufacturer had lowered its delivery goal last month to "around 790" jets from the original target of "around 820" following production issues with fuselage panels from a Spanish supplier.
The final delivery count confirms Airbus managed to overcome the supply chain challenges that prompted the target reduction.
In December, Airbus had been working to accelerate deliveries, with reports last week indicating the company had delivered approximately 90 civil aircraft in the first part of December with about 35 more scheduled for handover before year-end.
The December delivery push represented an unusually intense year-end effort for the planemaker, requiring nearly double the number of aircraft deliveries compared to November to reach the revised annual target.
