The supply/demand imbalance for Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone 5 is finally easing... a little.
Analysts at BTIG noted that the ship time's for the iPhone 5 at Apple's website dropped to 2-3 weeks, from 3-4 weeks last week.
This is the first time ship times have come down since Apple launched the device.
AT&T's website has ship times of 3-5 days, down from 7-14 days at the end of last week.
For Apple shareholders, this could suggests that Apple is curing supply chain issues that have limited supply. On the other hand, it could suggest demand is waning. Either way, with the Christmas season fast approaching having the supply of iPhone 5's available will surely bolster sales.
