Zynga (ZNGA) Poker GM Toney Said to Have Left Company

Zynga (Nasdaq: ZNGA) investors love the idea of gambling, that's becuase its one area where the Company seems to have a lead and also be making progress to broaden its revenue stream.
However, those plans might be delayed following reports out Tuesday. AllThingsD says that Zynga Poker GM Laurence 'Lo' Toney left the company.
In an email to ATD, Toney said it was less about Zynga and more about opportunities in Silicon Valley.
Toney was at Zynga for three years, spearheading its Poker unit for two. The unit continues to tick through about 40 million monthly active users (MAUs).
Management changes at Zynga aren't too uncommon nowadays. For more recent moves, click here. In terms of its gambling legacy, Zynga recently hired Maytal Ginzburg as operating chief. Having joined from 888 Holdings, an offerer of real-money games, Ginzburg should be able to push Zynga's Poker effort even further.
Shares are down about 1.7 percent in early trading.
