Zynga’s 'CityVille' Now Found on Google's (GOOG) Google+

Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) has added Zynga's CityVille, currently the number one game on Facebook, to its social game network.

This is not the first game on Google's social network for Zynga; the company has already licensed its Zynga Poker to Google+.

Zynga said in a blog, "CityVille grew to become our largest game on Facebook, so naturally we wanted to 'build' a presence for it on Google+. Ultimately, we want to make our games accessible to everyone, everywhere — no matter where they play or what platform they play on."

AllThingsD believes CityVille may not always be Facebook’s or anyone’s number one game as the popularity of Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) “Sims Social” is rising. Currently, Zynga’s “Rovio’s Angry Birds” is the number one game on Google+ and has yet to be launched on Facebook.

Google+ has roughly 43.4 million users at this time while Facebook claims to have around 800 million on a strong day.
