Yahoo! (YHOO) Said to Strike New Low-Cost Content Deal with Blip

Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) is said to have entered a new partnership with digital video distribution and monetization firm, Blip (formerly, Blip.tv).
According to AdAge, Yahoo! will promote 13 shows that Blip has distribution rights to on Yahoo Screen as well as distribute 16 Yahoo video series. Ad revs for each other's shows will be split among the two.
Yahoo! shares are up about 0.7 percent on the session, as traders and investors mull the potential of this new low-cost content deal.
