World Wrestling Entertainment (NYSE: WWE) shares are slightly lower following cautious commentary out late Wednesday.

The NY Post noted that ratings for Monday night's WWE Raw have fallen nearly 50 percent from highs this year as fans complain that outcomes have become too predictable. The audience for Raw's November 23rd show slipped below 3 million to 2.96 million, from a high of 5.36 million reached last March. (Data comes from WrestlingNewsWorld.com.)

Viewers from Thursday night's Smackdown have slipped 44 percent to about 1.65 million.
