When Will the RSTG Bubble Burst?
When will the Raser Technologies (OTCBB: RSTG) bubble burst and how many shorts will be killed before it happens? This is the question I've been asking myself for the past few days as the stock dances around the $40 per share level.
In my humble opinion, this stock is one of the most grossly overvalued situations I've seen in a while, and I've seen some 'speculative excess' in my day. With a fist full of press releases and some good timing the company has managed to accumulate a market cap of $1.92 Billion. Yes, that's "billion"!
Shorts could be to blame for this situation, as the 'skeptics' noticed the excess early, went short, and now find themselves stumbling over each other trying to cover, thereby supporting the stock and driving it higher.
But, as with all bubbles, they eventually burst. But, timing a market top is a trick I'm still working on and I imagine many of you are in the same boat.
